A tale

Once, there was a girl that was a fairy that was known for her exceptional chocolate making talents.

She was so skilled, that her chocolate was seen as the miracle itself of chocolate, thus gaining her the title "Chocolatier of Miracles"

...However...

There was a bit of a problem...

You see, an assistant of hers, who was a wood sprite...was plotting something terrible.

You see, her assistant was jealous of her bosses' fame, and she also was involved in a plot to try and kill the royal family of fairyland led by Rhiannon, due to the fact that Rhiannon had been prepared a lot of things for humanity and was thinking it would be great fun to play with human beings all day long...so...

You see, our dear chocolatier's assistant was not very happy about that at all, because to many like her, they saw humans as an abomination...

So, she, using plant based toxins, had poisoned the Chocolatier's chocolates and had schemed to poison many people all over the realm of fairyland because of it, and get the Chocolatier, her boss, the blame for it, at which point she would poison the royal chocolates prepared for humanity once given the position she wanted, and planned to poison them as well.

But, when a chocolate killed a fairy, an investigation was held, and a lawyer who supported the poisoning and was part of the conspiracy, tried to have the Chocolatier killed for treason, but the agent of justice found out that the chocolate had been poisoned by the assistant, and a widespread investigation uncovered the rest of the many plots aimed against humanity and the crown, so...the chocolatier's assistant was banished, along with those involved...

...Sadly, that did not end the evil or the attempt to destroy humanity, for the vile treacherous assistant blamed humanity for what had happened, and had been working on all kinds of poisons since to destroy humanity in a massive purge by a plague that she would create.

Due to the outbreak of the plague and the threat of this, the Chocolatier had become a knight to protect and heal people from the effects of it, since the effects were mixed with a highly toxic mutagenic substance that was very bad for the mind and body of humanity that would make them into monsters lost to madness if she did not act.

...Her goal had been to make people happy and give sweets as a gift to the world of man. That would always be her goal, even in the end...
